Eight companies have won positions on a potential six-year, Â $5 billion contract to provide logistics, base life and operations support services on a contingency basis to the U.S. Air Force.
The Air ForceÂ received 10 proposals for the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program IVÂ indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
The military branch will provideÂ the work locations and obligate funds upon awardÂ of each task order.
