Kay Rand Appointed Northrop Electronic Systems Sector Ops VP

Kay Rand, formerly vice president of mission assurance at Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) electronic systems sector, has been named as the sector’s VP of operations.

The 33-year company veteran will oversee the management of the organization’s facilities and programs as well as flight testing, capital, environmental, health, safety and fire protection infrastructure, Northrop said Thursday.

She will report to Gloria Flach, corporate vice president and president for the electronic systems sector, and serve on the sector policy council.

Rand previously managed the segment’s manufacturing and test functional homeroom operations and directed its work related to the F/A-22 fighter program.
