Douglas Lawton Appointed Northrop VP for Engineering Manufacturing, Logistics

Douglas Lawton, formerly vice president of electronic systems manufacturing at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), has been named engineering manufacturing and logistics VP for two intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance divisions within Northrop’s electronic systems sector.

Northrop Grumman said Monday Lawton would report to Nicholas Paraskevopoulos, VP and general manager of engineering, manufacturing and logistics.

He will oversee all programs and processes related to engineering manufacturing and logistics within the airborne ISR and targeting systems and space ISR systems divisions.

Lawton was previously the director and deputy for the undersea systems business and VP of supply chain management at Northrop.

He has served in various leadership roles in engineering, program execution, supply chain management and manufacturing since joining the company in 1983.
