Jacobs Technology will continue to provide NASA with test evaluation and support services at the White Sands Test Facility in New Mexico under a one-year, $100 million contract option.
NASA said Friday it exercised the second of two options to extend its three-year, $300 million Test Evaluation and Support Team contract with the Jacobs Engineering (NYSE: JEC) subsidiary.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes propellant and propulsion system testing, hypervelocity impact testing, flight hardware processing, quality assurance, institutional health and safety, facility maintenance and construction management.
Jacobs Technology will also work with subcontractors ERC, GeoControl Systems and MEI Technologies, NASA said.
Contract work begins May 1.
