TYSONS CORNER, VA April 29, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday on Al Kinney of HP’s (NYSE: HPQ) recent remarks urging organizations to employ round-the-clock vigilance as part of their cyber defense game plan.

Kinney, director of operations and strategy for enterprise security solutions at HP’s U.S. public sector business, told ICT Magazine that having control of the situation by studying the threat and having an agile response system in place helps win battles.

“Cybercriminals can go as far as make the half of the world economy come to a standstill, ” Kinney said in the interview published on BVEX Monday.

“Knowing this, you as a company or government agency have to make sure that you not only solve the problem that arose. You must have a structural solution and 24/7 monitoring and adjustment.”
