The North American subsidiary of Serco Group has won a $42 million contract to administer identification cards for U.S. Navy personnel at several military sites worldwide.

Serco Inc. will work to verify eligibility of Navy personnel and issue the cards to active duty, reserve, retiree, contractor personnel and family members, Serco said Tuesday.

Serco Inc. will also man field offices throughout the U.S., Hawaii and Guam.

The contract contains a one-year base period and three one-year option years.

Dan Allen, chairman and CEO of Serco Inc. and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 list for 2015, said the company intends for the contract to continue its support for Navy members.

“Serco takes pride in delivering defense readiness services to our nation’s military and their families, ” he added.

The Navy Personnel Command awarded the contract under the SeaPort-e contract vehicle.
