Navistar Awarded Army MRAP Vehicle Sustainment Contract


NavistarLogoA Navistar International (NYSE: NAV) subsidiary has been awarded a multiyear, $83.4 million contract to support the U.S. Army‘s fleet of MaxxPro recovery vehicles.

Navistar Defense will perform system sustainment and technical support work on the mine-resistant ambush protected vehicles under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The military service will determine funding and performance location with each order.

The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity and DoD expects Navistar Defense to complete work by March 31, 2019.
