Lockheed to Provide Sniper Targeting Pods in USAF Foreign Military Sale

lockheed martinLockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) missiles and fire control business will provide its Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods under a $485 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity foreign military sales contract through the U.S. Air Force.

The Defense Department said Friday the contract includes initial spare pods, two-way data links and 1K forward-looking infrared systems.

The company will perform work at its facility in Orlando, Florida, through March 26, 2018.

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base manages the contract.
