Johns Hopkins University’s Applied Physics Laboratory will carry out analysis work and studies in areas related to science and technology for Special Operations Command under a five-year, $405 million contract.
The Defense Department said Tuesday APL will also perform experiments, engineering and developmental work in order to apply investigative findings and theories for SoCom.
SoCom is obligating $656, 428 in fiscal year 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
