John Hassoun, corporate president at Vistronix since January 2013, has been appointed to succeed founder Deepak Hathiramani as CEO of the Reston, Va.-based technology services contractor and will continue to hold the corporate president title.
The company said Monday it appointed Hassoun chief executive in its push to grow Vistronix’s footprint in the national intelligence community through growth initiatives such as the completed acquisitions of Agency Consulting Group, ExaTech Solutions and Objective Solutions Inc.
Hathiramani will continue to serve as chairman of Vistronix’s board of directors.
“As we execute on our strategic plan, John’s leadership acumen coupled with his strategic, operational and financial skills will be instrumental for our next phase of growth and transformation, ” Hathiramani said.
Hassoun joined Vistronix in July 2012 as executive vice president of corporate development and is a former CEO of both Global Integrated Security and Olive Group, as well as a former co-CEO of ATS Corp.
