Charles McGann, formerly corporate information security officer at the U.S. Postal Service, has been named chief cyber strategist at CRGT and will focus on cybersecurity protection offerings for the federal market.
âChuck’s expertise will guide CRGT’s cyber strategy and assist in providing information assurance expertise to address our client’s mission needs, ” Tom Ferrando, president of CRGT, said Tuesday.
McGann oversaw security of a USPS intranet infrastructure that is built to manage more than 600 enterprise applications across the agency.
He has also co-chaired the Government Advisory Board on CyberSecurity and serves on the government education advisory board at Symantec and on the customer advisory board at RedSeal Networks.
He holds CISSP and CISM certifications as well as an information assurance methodology certification from the National Security Agency.
