Engility to Help Navy Engineer Air Warfare Systems; Tony Smeraglinolo Comments

Engility Holdings (NYSE: EGL) has won a three-year, $61 million contract to perform research, development and engineering services for the Naval Air Warfare Center’s weapons division.

The company said Friday it will also help NAWCWD evaluate systems design, manage technical activities and field new technology.

Tony Smeraglinolo, Engility president and CEO, said the contract allows the company to continue its four decades of support to the U.S. Navy.

“We are proud to provide our customers the full spectrum of engineering and technical support that helps them achieve mission success, ” Smeraglinolo added.

Work is scheduled to occur through December 2017 at China Lake and Point Mogu, California and in Patuxent River, Maryland.
