John Halinski to Advise Command Consulting Group Clients on Aviation Security

John Halinski, the recently retired deputy administrator of the Transportation Security Administration, has been named a senior adviser at Command Consulting Group, a security and intelligence advisory company based in Washington.

Halinski, a 10-year veteran at TSA who has previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 25 years, has experience in international aviation security, counterterrorism and intelligence operations, Command said Wednesday.

“John’s unparalleled experience, especially in the international environment, will be a great benefit to our current and future international clients who are serious about achieving world-class aviation security and regulatory compliance, ” said W. Ralph Basham, a Command founding partner.

As senior advisor, Halinski will help clients such as aviation authorities and associations, airlines and airports establish security plans, meet regulations and adopt best practices in the field.

He has also served as primary technical advisor on aviation security for the State Department and U.S. representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization.
