Her promotion is effective immediately and she will oversee EM&L-related functions in the organization’s advanced concepts and technologies division, Northrop said Tuesday.
She will also lead infrastructure operations as well as support technology development work of Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems in her new position.
Hollis previously directed the passive radio frequency programs at the company and served as the firm’s systems engineering, integration and testing deputy for the Cobra Judy radar project.
Prior to joining Northrop in 2003, she held positions at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Boeing‘s (NYSE: BA) satellite systems business.
She completed a general management program at Harvard Business School and holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
