Greg Hill, a principal at The Chertoff Group, has been appointed to manage operations at the company’s newly opened offices in Austin and Houston.He brings knowledge of modern security threats as well as experience in business leadership and advisory to his new position, CEO and co-founder Chad Sweet said Tuesday.
“With deep Texas roots and a unique combination of homeland security experience and thoughtful investment insight, Greg along with the Chertoff Group team will be a tremendous asset to Texas business leaders working to navigate today’s complex threat environment and security marketplace, ” Sweet added.
Hill served as chief of staff for the House Homeland Security Committee before joining the Chertoff Group in February and oversaw the passage of several key security laws in that role.
He has also held senior leadership positions at Hartford Financial Services Group, Merrill Lynch and Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corp.
