Safran has wrapped up its $270 million acquisition of the aerospace power distribution and cockpit systems business of Eaton (NYSE: ETN).
That business has a 350-employee workforce and generated approximately $102 million in sales during 2013, Eaton said Friday.
The unit’s manufacturing facilities are located in Sarasota, Fla. and Costa Mesa, Calif.
The unit’s products include switches, cockpit panel assemblies, pilot controls, passenger safety latches, circuit protection systems, power distribution units and switch accessories.
