Jill Pomeroy and Michael O’Hara have joined Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. (NYSE: BLL) as directors of legislative affairs and space business development, respectively.
Pomeroy will be responsible for Ball Aerospace’s relations with the Congress for its defense and intelligence programs, Ball Aerospace said Tuesday.
She most recently served as legislative affairs director at DigitalGlobe (NYSE: DGI) after similar positions at Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) and the National Association of Manufacturers.
O’Hara will lead Ball Aerospace’s space technology and services after serving as director for civil space propulsion development at Aerojet Rocketdyne.
He previously worked with the NASA Langley Research Center and was a NASA Congressional Fellow for Sen. Mary Landrieu.
The new directors will join Ball Aerospace’s Washington-based strategic operations center.
