Richard Robinson, formerly chief information officer at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, has joined Telos as the new director of innovation responsible for the company’s innovation process and strategies.
Robinson, an innovation, cybersecurity and technology veteran, will oversee internal programs and research and development activities, the company said Wednesday.
“Rich will play a key leadership role in Telos’ strategic expansion over the next three years and beyond, ” said Ed Williams, chief operating officer at Telos.
As the CIO of LLNL, Robinson led the deployment of an open innovation framework and predictive and behavioral modeling cybersecurity tools, among others.
He also serves as the chief technologist of Gov2020 Institute, a non-profit organization he co-founded that supports public-private partnerships and open innovation principles.
