CIO Rebecca Rhoads Adds Global Business Services President Role at Raytheon; William Swanson Comments

RAYTHEON COMPANY REBECCA RHOADSRebecca Rhoads,  chief information officer and a vice president at Raytheon Co. (NYSE: RTN), has added the role of president of Raytheon’s global business services group.

Rhoads will oversee related Raytheon operations across supply chain management, finance, information technology, human resources and advanced media services,  Raytheon said Friday. Rhaods will be based in Waltham, Mass..

William Swanson, Raytheon chairman and CEO, said Rhoads will aim to help the company achieve operational goals through Raytheon’s common business systems.

The 35-year defense industry veteran has been Raytheon’s CIO since 2001 after serving on various senior engineering and executive roles at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and Hughes.

The business services group, established in January, employs around 3, 500 individuals across the world.
