CH2M HILL Wins $46M Contract with ‘Rapid Transportation’ Authority; Daniel Grabauskas Comments

CH2MhillCH2M HILL has won a potential five-year, $46.1 million contract to help oversee the next phase of a rail project in Honolulu, Hawaii, RT&S Magazine reported Wednesday.

The article notes CH2M HILL will support oversight of scheduling, design review, cost estimates, planning, environmental assessments and interface management activities.

“This new contract reflects where we are on the project and takes into account HART’s more active role in implementing and managing all design and construction contracts, ” said HART Executive Director and CEO Daniel Grabauskas.

RT&S reports the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation also intends to release other contracts for core systems support, construction engineering, security oversight and inspection services.
