Kiran Patel, Ronald Rittenmeyer Join Avaya Board of Directors

avayaKiran Patel, formerly executive vice president and general manager of Intuit’s small business group for five years, and Expert Global Solutions Chairman, President and CEO Ronald Rittenmeyer have joined Avaya’s (NYSE: AV) board of directors.

Patel served as senior VP and general manager for Intuit’s consumer group from 2007 to 2008 before leading the small business segment between December 2008 and September 2013, Avaya said Tuesday.

Rittenmeyer led Electronic Data Systems as chairman, president and CEO before taking the same roles at Expert Global Solutions in 2011.

Patel holds a seat on KLA-Tencor Corp.’s board and Rittenmeyer serves on the boards of American International Group and Tenet Healthcare.
