Serway is a 25-year financial leadership veteran and brings both government and commercial market experience to Govplace, the company said Wednesday.
“Mark will play a significant role at Govplace as we pursue long-term strategic growth opportunities, ” said Adam Robinson, GovPlace CEO.
Robinson added Serway will work to help plan and carry out the company’s business and financial strategies.
Prior to Akima, Serway held the CFO role at Employment Enterprises and previously at Paradigm Solutions Corp.
He also served in financial leadership positions at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Getronics Government Solutions.
