David Wennergren Named CACI Enterprise Tech, Services Group VP

David WennergrenDavid Wennergren, formerly assistant deputy chief management officer at the Defense Department, has joined CACI International (NYSE: CACI) as a vice president within the enterprise technologies and services business group.

The nearly three-decade government veteran will oversee the group’s opportunity management and customer delivery practices, CACI said Tuesday.

Wennergren said he worked with CACI professionals while working as an analyst for the Navy, which was his first job.

In his most recent role, Wennergren developed an investment management approach for the department’s business systems that sought to establish a portfolio management process.

His career also includes service as deputy assistant defense secretary for information management, integration and technology; deputy chief information officer for the Pentagon; and CIO for the Department of the Navy.
