Cliff Greenblatt Promoted to TASC VP, General Counsel

Cliff Greenblatt, who joined TASC in 2010 as deputy general counsel, has been promoted to general counsel and vice president at the Chantilly, Va.-based contractor.

Greenblat will lead the company’s ethics and compliance and trade-compliance activities, as well as help both TASC and customers address matters regarding compliance and mitigating risks, TASC said Thursday.

He will also be responsible for providing legal support to the company’s business operations.

Before joining TASC, he served as assistant general counsel at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) for five years and has also held in-house counsel positions at Accenture (NYSE: ACN), MCI, Qwest and Veridian Corp.

He has also worked in private practice at Washington-based law firm Steptoe & Johnson in Washington.
