Lockheed to Upgrade Navy Receiver, Antenna Set

LockheedLogoLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has won a $27.4 million contract modification to acquire long-lead materials for a U.S. Navy electronic warfare program.

The Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program is an evolutionary acquisition program that aims to upgrade a receiver and antenna group, the Defense Department said Friday.

Work will occur in Syracuse, N.Y. through March 2014 and the Navy is obligating all contract funds at the time of award.

No funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
