The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract contains a base year and two options that could extend the award to December 2015, Exelis said Tuesday.
Exelis said this contract with the Navy’s Italy-based Facilities Engineering Command for Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia is a new procurement and does not replace an existing contract.
“We look forward to providing support to this critical foothold and to the Navy’s operations in central Europe and elsewhere, ” said Ken Hunzeker, president of the company’s mission systems division.
Work at Deveselu Air Base in Romania will include base operations and administration, fire and emergency services, supply services, housing and environmental operations.
