Northrop, Finmeccanica Complete Test for NATO Cyberattack Response System

Finmeccanica Cyber Solutions team has completed initial testing for NATO’s Computer Incident Response Capability-Full Operating Capability program, the company announced.

The Finmeccanica-led team, which includes Northrop Grumman, SELEX Systems Integration and VEGA, announced Wednesday that it had successfully accomplished the testing phase of the Proof of Concept for NCIRC FOC that was awarded to the team in February 2012.

The computer incident response capability is expected to provide a flexible, agile and interoperable solution that features advanced cyber defense systems to protect NATO’s crisis operations, static commands, article V operations, signal battalions and reaction force.
