The branch awarded the potential seven-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts under the Network Centric Solutions-2 vehicle, or Netcents 2.
Awards for a separate $6.9 billion products portion of Netcents 2 are being redone and the branch is accepting a second round of proposals through Wednesday.

The Application Services Small Business Companion contract is set to commence in August, and is one of the two application services contracts available to the Air Force.
Awardees will provide the branch with services in sustainment, migration, integration, training, help desk support, testing, operations and web services.
Other defense and civilian agencies relative to the Air Force’s interoperability, IT infrastructure and operations support and solutions may use the vehicle, the branch said.
