Cubic Names SAIC Vet Andy Jazwick DC Rep, Legislative Affairs VP

Cubic Corp. has named Andy Jazwick vice president of legislative affairs, where he will serve as the company’s lead representative in Washington.

The San Diego, Calif.-based company said he joins the company effective Monday and succeeds Jack Liddle, who served in that capacity for more than 15 years.

Jazwick, a 25-year veteran government and public relations veteran, previously served as senior vice president for aviation security at SAIC Inc.’s Reveal Imaging company, which develops threat detection technologies and services.

At Reveal, he directed marketing and business development and managed a sales team for both domestic and international aviation detection markets.

Prior to that, he served as the company’s senior lobbyist for homeland security, national defense and intelligence for 11 years.

Before joining SAIC, he managed government relations for Science and Engineering Associates.

He also served a senior military legislative assistant for three U.S. senators, handling defense, intelligence and national security issues.

Those senators served on the Armed Services Committee and its subcommittees for defense, energy and foreign operations appropriations.
