DynCorp International LLC has won a potential $176.9 million contract to provide aircraft maintenance and operational support services to NASA, the agency announced Wednesday.
The Falls Church, Va.-based firm will provide the space agency with a variety of engineering, research and development and training services.
The base period of the contract begins June 1, runs for one year and four months and is worth $46.6 million.
The other two option periods have a span of two years each, the first valued at $70.1 million through September 2015 and $60.2 million available in September 2017.
NASA said GeoControl Systems was selected as a subcontractor on the project.
Work will occur at:
- Johnson Space Center in Houston
- Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va.
- NASA facilities in El Paso, Texas
- Edwards Air Force Base, Calif.
