Serco Adds Two Execs to Business Development Leadership Team

Serco Inc. has appointed Jack Ginsburg vice president of business development and Carlo Uchello vice president of customer programs, the company announced Monday.

Ginsburg will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with the Reston, Va-based firm’s federal civilian clients and in Canada.

The company said his areas of expertise include systems integration, program management, business process outsourcing and information technology.

The 25-year marketing and business development veteran most recently served as senior vice president of global sales and marketing at biometric identity management firm Daon for three years.

He also held executive positions at program management and consulting firm Maximus for six years.

Uchello will be responsible for strengthening Serco’s relationships with its customers.

His 30 years of experience includes technical, operations and project management, strategic planning, and business development for federal and state government clients.

Prior to joining Serco, Uchello was vice president of education and financial services for General Dynamics’ IT business unit.

Serco announced a re-shuffle of its executive team in February when it promoted Bo Durickovic to president and chief operating officer and Harry Gatanas to an executive vice president title.

The company said Gatanas would continue to lead the defense and intelligence group.
