Former HPTi CFO Bill Milligan Joins Blue Canopy

Reston, Va.-based information technology contractor Blue Canopy has appointed Bill Milligan as its chief financial officer, GovCon Wire has learned.

Prior to joining that company, Milligan served as CFO and vice president at High Performance Technologies Inc., where he led corporate finance and administrative functions.

Dynamics Research Corp. acquired the federal healthcare and military technology service provider for $143 million in June 2011.

The 24-year finance veteran has spent more than 12 years as a CFO at HPTi and at Dulles, Va.-based Internet software firm Anystream.

Milligan also led a campaign to raise $13 million for a commercial software start-up company and managed over $10 million in cash investments.
