American Systems named Mark Fry regional representative for the company’s operations in Huntsville, Ala., American Systems announced Monday.
Fry will be responsible for expanding American Systems’ business with its government customers in the Huntsville region.
American Systems Chief Operating Officer Peter Smith said the company appointed Fry for his experience in business development and client relations.
American Systems said Fry is a 30-year veteran of business development and operational roles with federal government customers.
American Systems’ Huntsville-based customers include the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, the Missile Defense Agency, NASA, the Army Materiel Command and federal law enforcement agencies.
Fry most recently served in business development and account management roles at Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) and IBM (NYSE: IBM).
Fry also held positions at TASC Inc., General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) and SRA International.
