Air Force Taps 19 Firms for $950M Support Services IDIQ

Containing similar work orders to the maximum $4.7 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award it announced yesterday, the U.S. Air Force has awarded 19 firms positions on another maximum $950 million multiple award IDIQ.

Each contract is for support services covered under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 37.2. A Defense Department announcement of the award says services will include:

  • management and professional support
  • studies, analyses and evaluations
  • engineering and technical services

Work on the $950 million award will be conducted for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base tenants:

  • Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command
  • Aeronautical Systems Center
  • Air Force Research Laboratory
  • Air Force Institute of Technology
  • National Air and Space Intelligence Command
