L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has won a maximum $469, 560, 000 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursement contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide aircrew and maintenance for the F-16 training system.
The company will provide services at 33 locations in the U.S., Greece, Jordan, Bahrain and the Pacific.
Funding also covers training systems support at Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
L-3 will provide contractor logistics support and concurrency and trainer-unique changes.
TSSC operations include training, system configuration control, maintaining a logistics data library, on-site engineering support and visual system database modifications.
Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
