General Dynamics to Support Irregular Warfare with Internally Transportable Vehicles

The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems business unit an $18, 110, 480 contract modification for 75 full rate production internally transportable vehicles.

The ITV is a Marine Corps program to field an expeditionary vehicle supporting over-the-horizon amphibious operations, irregular warfare and enhanced company operations.

Work is expected to be completed by December 2012. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.
