MITRE Wins $395M AF Contract for Fiscal 2012 Programs, Foreign Military Sales

MITRE Corp., the federally-funded R&D center, has won a $394, 186, 883 U.S. Air Force contract modification to provide systems engineering and integration support for fiscal 2012 ceiling and non-ceiling programs.

The Air Force estimates required support levels of 892 staff years for the ceiling programs and 300 direct staff years for the non-ceiling programs.

The award exercises the third option year on a previously-awarded contract. Six percent of awarded funds will support foreign military sales programs to Saudi Arabia, France, the U.K. and Japan.

Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity.
