L3 Awarded $48M to Support C-12 Navy, Marines Aircraft

The U.S. Navy has awarded L-3 Communications‘ (NYSE: LLL) systems field support division a $48, 797, 627 contract modification to provide maintenance and logistical life support.

The company will support 55 C-12 aircraft for the Navy and 11 for the U.S. Marine Corps.

L-3 will provide engineering and maintenance of organizational, depot-level and support equipment.

Work is expected to be completed in September 2012. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
