The U.S. Navy has awarded Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (NYSE: BAH) a $23, 662, 663 contract modification to provide training, education, engineering and other support services to the Royal Saudi Navy.
The award modifies a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract and is under the Foreign Military Sales program.
Booz Allen will support:
- plans and programs
- C4, intelligence and electronic warfare
- naval operations
- english language training
- logistics and supply
Sixty percent of the work will be performed in Saudi Arabia, which is expected to be completed July 31, 2012.
Fiscal 2011 incremental funds of $3, 561, 919 will be provided to ensure performance can continue uninterrupted on Aug. 1, 2011.
The contract was procured on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-4, international agreement. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
