Oshkosh Names Hamilton, Palmer to Board of Directors

Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK) has appointed Peter Hamilton and Duncan Palmer to its board of directors as independent directors on the audit committee.

Hamilton is SVP and CFO of Brunswick Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of recreational products. He previously was CFO at Cummins, Inc. and held senior positions in the federal government.

Palmer is SVP and CFO of Owens Corning, a glass fiber company. He previously worked 20 years for Royal Dutch/Shell Group.

Oshkosh disclosed their search for two new board members in a Dec. 21, 2010, proxy statement.

Szews, Oshkosh Corporation president and CEO. “Peter and Duncan are both highly qualified and experienced professionals who bring to Oshkosh’s board proven leadership in global finance, manufacturing and innovation.
