DRS to Provide Afghan National Police, Interior Ministry with Training, Mentoring Services

DRS Technical Services (NYSE: DRS), Herndon, Va., has won a $19, 632, 592 cost-plus-fixed-fee U.S. Army contract to provide specialized training and mentoring services for Afghanistan’s Ministry of the Interior and the Afghan National Police.

One sole-source bid was solicited, with one bid received.

Work will be performed in Afghanistan, with an estimated completion date of Jan. 16, 2012. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.
