ICx Technologies Wins $6.8 Million Explosives-Detection Contract for Afghan National Army and Police


ICx Technologies, a developer of advanced sensor technologies, has announced that the U.S. Army has purchased Fido XTi™ explosives-detection systems to be used by the Afghan National Army and Police.  The Fido XTi is the export version of the combat-proven Fido XT and weighs less than three pounds and provides trace detection of explosive materials or contamination.
