BAE Wins $165.5M Army Contract for Recovery Vehicles

The U.S. Army has awarded BAE Systems, York, Pa., a $165, 460, 979 firm-fixed-price contract.  The company will produce 43 heavy equipment recovery combat utility life evacuation system recovery vehicles.

Work is estimated to be completed Dec. 31, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.
