General Dynamics Wins $4M Los Angeles World Airports Contract

General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) information technology business unit has won a $4.2 contract to enhance communication and control systems for the Los Angeles World Airports Response Coordination Center by providing video-management and display systems and integrating radio communications and networks.

This work will provide the ARCC with expanded regional response and air traffic control contact capabilities to Los Angeles International, LA/Ontario International and Van Nuys airports.

Edward Hudson, general manager and vice president of General Dynamics Information Technology’s Public Network Solutions sector, said, “General Dynamics utilized its significant systems integration and command center experience to support LAWA in providing world-class service, safety and security to its customers.”
