EADS North America Names Michael Cosentino SVP for Strategy and Development

EADS has announced Michael Cosentino will be senior vice president and head of strategy and development. He will oversee the company’s growth strategy and lead EADS North America’s merger, acquisition and business development functions.

Consentino has been EADS North America’s senior vice president and tanker program manager since 2009, where he competed to be prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force’s next-generation aerial refueling tanker as head of the company’s KC-45 team.

“We are pleased to have Mike Cosentino lead our strategy and business development efforts, ” said Chief Executive Officer of EADS North America Sean O’Keefe. “Mike demonstrated tremendous leadership and in-depth knowledge of the U.S. defense market during the recently concluded tanker competition. He will be instrumental in leading our new business capture efforts, as well as guiding a merger and acquisition strategy necessary to meet the company’s growth targets.”

Consentino previously worked at two joint ventures as general manager of Global Military Aircraft Systems, LLC and CEO of AgustaWestland Bell LLC. He also spent 25 years at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.
