VMware Sees Growth in New Fiscal Report

VMware (NYSE: VMW) released financial results for the first quarter of 2011, with revenues listed at $844 million, a 33 percent jump from the first quarter of 2010.

“The quarter’s strong performance underscores the value that VMware is providing customers on their journey to cloud computing, ” CEO Paul Maritz said. “Customers continue to invest in our portfolio of virtualization and cloud infrastructure solutions to remove complexity and enable IT as a Service.”
