Lockheed Martin Secures DoD Deal

According to the Department of Defense, “Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is being awarded a $17, 160, 307 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for United Kingdom technical services in support of the TRIDENT Strategic Weapons System.  Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif. (72 percent), various locations in the United States (18 percent), and various locations in the United Kingdom (10 percent), and work is expected to be completed March 31, 2012.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  This contract was not competitively procured.  The Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-11-C-0024).”
