Northrop Grumman Grabs 3 Defense Deals

According to the Department of Defense, “Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) is being awarded a $10, 449, 314 cost-plus-fixed-price contract modification for sustainment support for the Minuteman weapon systems, incremental funding for exercised option.  Work will be performed in Clearfield, Utah, and subcontractor AK Launch Systems in Brigham City, Utah.  AFNWC/PKME, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-98-C-0001).

“Northrop Grumman was awarded an $8, 125, 272 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the initial integration of the Type-II Interim Encryption System (TIES) and 37 sets of the Hunter unique TIES hardware to be installed at various locations.  Work will be performed in Sierra Vista, Ariz., with an estimated completion date of June 30, 2012.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-08-C-0025).

“Northrop Grumman was awarded a $6, 745, 788 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the technical services and training material in the continued development of the Air and Missile Defense Workstation Block IV software.  Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., with an estimated completion date of March 16, 2016.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W31P4Q-11-C-0167).”
