CSC (NYSE: CSC) has appointed Jose Jimenez to the position of chief diversity officer.
Jimenez will report to CEO Michael Laphen and Denise Peppard, vice president and chief human resources officer.
According to the firm, he “will work closely with CSC executives globally to develop business initiatives that enhance customer and community relationships as well as external and internal communications strategies that strengthen CSC’s ability to attract diverse talent in all markets.”
“With more than 35 years of extensive corporate and government experience, Jose brings deep knowledge of CSC and our clients’ business, as well as a passion for our diversity and inclusion programs, ” said Laphen. “Jose is a recognized leader in both the information technology and Hispanic communities and his appointment reflects CSC’s continued commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.”
