QinetiQ NA Snags FEMA Option

QinetiQ North America picked up a contract option from FEMA worth a potential $15.6 million to provide asset tracking services.

The firm will continue integration with DHS and FEMA’s technical architecture, along with surge capabilities for disaster operations.

“This award serves as a strong testimonial to our strong mission support capabilities, and the quality of service we have been providing to FEMA for the last year, ” said Rick Finn, general manager and senior vice president of QinetiQ North America’s Homeland Security Business Unit. “Our long-standing relationship with DHS has been mutually beneficial throughout the years. The opportunity to continue to support an agency like FEMA is something we take great pride in, and we will continue to perform at the highest level of standards and expectations as we support this critical mission.”
